Captivating

Hey this is a book recommendation...
Captivating (unveiling the mystery of a woman's soul) by John and Stasi Eldredge
I just finished reading it yesterday. Wasn't mad keen on the start to be honest and my memory is so bad if i read something and don't look near it for a few days i come back and start reading without remembering anything that i had previously read. But i really liked the last few chapters, they started to talk some sense.
If anyone wants to borrow my copy just say to me!
Have a splendid monday.

Great work Gemma...do not be discouraged if the females at Bottear do not comment on blogs - perhaps they read them, perhaps they don't - sanctification is the work of the Creator and Sustainer - saturate your mind in 'I AM's' word, seeking at His throne, in great books etc.! I for one am encouraged by what you are doing and I know Gary is also!

Thanks John, I am glad I have been used to encourage. It is by your example and Gary's etc that I have been encouraged to strive higher. I have found reading stuff online by other women and yours/Garys blog to be of great help to me, but probably wouldn't have thought of it without you two.

Yeh it's encouraging to see a good, female, northern ireland blog come on the scene!!!
From reading "wild at heart" by Eldredge, (by which Christ did work to touch, move and heal areas of my life), but finding it quite man centred. I found "Captivating" to be much more Christ orientated and God centred! (I know, whats a guy doing reading a womans book? I ran out of books to read one wknd when Barbara was away and Captivating was lying around so it was read). Sorry ladies for delighting in a womans book, but it was good!
